About
One operator, one aircraft
Wye Valley Aerial is run by one person, based in the valley. I fly a DJI Mavic 4 Pro, which carries three cameras and records stills and graded video. Flights are insured, and I hold a Flyer ID, an Operator ID and the A2 Certificate of Competence.
How much does a flight cost?
Every job is quoted separately, and the quote is free. Send the address and what you need, and I will reply with a fixed price before anything is booked.
Can you photograph my roof without a ladder?
Yes. I can fly close to tiles, chimneys, gutters, valleys and flat roofs and send clear photographs, so you or your roofer can see what needs attention. The photographs are not a structural survey.
Can I have photographs and a film from the same visit?
Yes. Stills and video can be captured in one visit. Tell me you want both when you ask for a quote, because filmed moves take longer to fly than stills.
What happens if the weather is bad?
I check the forecast before the day. If wind or rain would spoil the job or make it unsafe, we agree a new date at no extra cost.
Do you need permission to fly over my property?
I arrange landowner permission before launch and check the airspace for every address. Flights follow UK Civil Aviation Authority rules and the UK Drone Code.
How do I receive the photographs?
Edited stills, and the film if booked, arrive by download link, ready for listings, websites and social media.
Have a place in mind?
Tell me where it is and what you need. Every job is quoted separately, and the quote is free.
